Of these, visitor conversion is the hardest task to get right. A new article on ASureImage looks at 30 different methods to convert visitors to leads. More importantly, it explains what a genuine lead is and why tricking people into handing over their contact data isn't necessary.

I took a look at this. The irony is there are 30 different ways to turn visitors into leads, but the preamble suggests the methods themselves aren't necessary. Or did I misunderstand something?

Yes, I believe you have misunderstood. The point being made is that tricks to obtain contact information aren't necessary when the potential lead wants you to get in touch. Put another way, if you have to rely on tricks you're not generating a lead. I think the article makes this clear.

Nice article, thanks. I agree that you don't have to trick clients if they are interested in your services, all you have to do is to follow up their needs and contentment so that both parties will be satisfied and the relationship grows. And when you obtain traffic, everything else then goes to with the flow.
